Grand Union Housing Group (GUHG) is about to deliver the first new homes for Rockingham Forest Housing (RFH) since they joined the Group in November last year.

Local housing provider, RFH, will manage the schemes in Ringstead and Braybrooke when they are completed towards the end of February.

Cherry Street, Ringstead is made up of four 2 bedroom maisonettes on a former factory site and all are for affordable rent, while the site at Church End Road, Braybrooke is made up of four 3 bedroom homes on a former school site. These are all available for Shared Ownership.

Isabel Thonger, Head of Operations, RFH, said: “It’s fantastic that we are already seeing new homes being delivered only a few months after we joined the Group.

“It’s really important that we continue to provide affordable housing for people in our area and as part of GUHG we can do just that.”

Both sites are parts of larger schemes of 14 homes, with Cherry Street being built by SMDL Homes, while Church End Road is being constructed with Lodge Park Limited.

A number of other developments which will be built by GUHG and managed by RFH are underway and will become available throughout the year.
